Lakehouse RESIDENCES - OAKLAND, CA
We led the interior design and interior architecture for this luxury high rise residential building located close to Lake Merritt in Oakland, California for our client and their team. Working closely with the architect and the developer, we created a timeless modern sanctuary that retained elements of mid century modernism, but feels like a mix of what you might find in Europe and California.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Scale Collective worked closely with the developer and the Architect teams to conceive of interiors that are modern, soft, functional and timeless. The area was the first bird sanctuary and elements of this can be found in the project such as the nest reception desk. We used deep jewel tones in the furnishings and terrazzo flooring that makes the building feel like it could have been originally built in the mid century, but with a more soft modern influence and feel. The hotel like experience in the lobby extends to the large co-working space, the game room and the sky lounge and makes the residents feel like they are living in a five star Hotel. Careful consideration of furnishings and art is taken throughout the building to keep it both elevated and timeless.
