The Scale Collective is a boutique interior design studio based in Tiburon, creating some of Marin County’s most collectible interiors. Led by architect-trained designer Sara Alexander, the studio works on projects across the Bay Area and beyond, from Marin County waterfront homes to properties in Los Angeles and Miami.

The studio offers full-service interior design, interior architecture, and art consulting.

Our Approach

Every project starts with a conversation about how you want to live. We work on narrative-driven design, dreaming up creative concepts and executing them with a meticulous, collaborative approach that draws on a collective of architects, artisans, consultants, and artists. The result is a signature blend of relaxed, modern coastal California living and old-world European sensibility, elevating the everyday human experience through interiors and artful living.
